An early look at a golfer's dream taking shape. Progress has been fast, and the team has loved bringing Topia Garden Design's vision to life alongside Brackenridge Builders.

Week One - Crazy Paving

We broke ground and got the crazy paving underway around the deck and spa, mortared to height. These are Paradise stone pavers, and this is the last site we'll ever lay them on, with the quarry closing down.

Week Two - The Big Dig Out

Moving out to the front areas. A serious dig out, clearing vegetation to open up the ground for the green. Post holes went in for the new fence, spaced, braced and railed. The week finished with the putting green area graded and ready for base course and compacting.

Week Three - Hedges and Edging

The big push, still focusing on the front of the house. Thirty-seven metres of instant olive hedging from Twining Valley wrapped the perimeter, and the steel edging was welded into place around the green.

Next Week - Ready for Turf

The green is almost ready for astro turf after a layer of topsoil. Craig at Matakana Metal Works has crafted bespoke steel tank hats, sharp, and they look superb. Flaxes and citrus planted around the green and mulched, with the rest of the areas ready for topsoil and lawn from North Coast Turf.
