Our Design & Build Process

A clear, collaborative journey. Every project is unique, but the path from idea to finished landscape follows the same considered stages.

01 - Initial Consultation & Brief

We meet on site to walk the property and understand what you want to achieve, assessing the site and talking through how you intend to use the space. Where a design is needed, we partner with established designers we know and trust, so design and construction stay aligned from the outset.

02 - Concept & Design

We develop the design from a base plan through to scaled concept drawings, with key materials, indicative levels and a planting scheme. For more detailed builds this extends to set-out plans, lighting, drainage and any documentation needed for consents. 3D visualisations are available on request.

03 - Estimating

Once the design is finalised, we prepare an estimate for the construction phase. Estimates are typically presented during a site visit, where we walk through the property together, refine the scope and answer questions, so everything is aligned before construction begins.

04 - Landscape Installation

We work on a charge-up basis, with labour, materials, machinery and subcontractors itemised as they occur and invoices sent weekly. You always have clear visibility of how the project is tracking, and the flexibility to adapt as the build progresses while costs stay clear and visible.

05 - Aftercare

Once your landscape is installed, ongoing care helps it reach the full potential of the design. Our dedicated in-house maintenance team specialises in caring for the gardens we build, tailoring a plan to your garden so it keeps looking and performing at its best.
